it is important for living organisms proper functioning to considerate all of the factors which can effect on organizms and have harmful action. To recognaze this damage as fast as posible is also very important to minimize adverse effects. A powerful factor which effects on living organizms is ionizing radiacion , which destroys the cells of the organism or fundamentally changes their ongoing metabolic processes, at the expense of the defective structures. There are some information about ionizing radiation. It is discussed : principles of it action on unit cells, as well as negative and positive aspects and appropriate use in medicine.
