Annotation:

Master's thesis aims to solve specific tasks in the sensory system, specifically to create "OCR Math" program in Android system. "OCR Math" program is the camera, using which people can calculate a simple math problem. It will pass through the following stages: at first camera records an image, then program recognizes characters and finally it solves the given problem. Most importantly, this program should be simple and pleasant to use, which is helpful and available to any person. To achieve this, first of all, we discussed the most important issues of human-computer interaction and have analyzed basic methods in this master's thesis. We also reviewed its history, structure, systems, technologies and models. After that, the major challenge was connected to sensor technologies, which is the most important and exciting area in human-computer interaction. In today’s world the use of touch screen technology is so important that practically all modern technology is based on its development. The paper outlines the core meaning of sensor technologies, its nature, types, components as well as main principles of working with sensor screens. The paper also includes a comparative research of different types of sensor technologies, shows how important these technologies are for humans and how they make interaction with systems easier. The paper underlines the basic principles, how important it is to stick to the elaborated principles and approaches and how difficult it is maintain these principles. The elaborated program was based on those discussed topics and practical approaches. Presented issues are relevant and important not only for the increasing area of programming and those involved in this area, but also for ordinary people who use touch devices on a daily basis.
