Revealing landslide risks regions caused by precipitation

In the paper is discussed one of the most dangerous exodynamical process in Georgia landslide risk classification. In close cooperation with M.Nodias's Geophysics Institute, the software has been set up, by means of which will be detected and estimated the dangerous areas of the landslide mapping and abundant precipitation data analysis. For both cases: while creating the landslide alert map and while marking extremely risky regions, the so called “experts’ experience method” will be used. The created software consists of two tools: the standalone application (written in Java), by means of which will be defined the classification of landslide zone in text format only and the built-in ArcMap application (written in C#), which will generate the map of the landslide danger zones. The result has been used by the Institute of Geophysics in the ongoing project "Pan-European and nation-wide landslide susceptibility assessment". The method will be presented to the European map with the development group for landslides and will be used to create a landslides map in Europe.
