Regional environmental problems of Georgia and conscience of population (on the example of Mckheta-Mtianeti)

On the background of the global environmental crisis in the world, it is important for Georgia to conduct a regional environmental studies and described the issues of the public awareness. The main aim of the thesis is the ecological situation in the region of Mtskheta-Mtianeti and determine the level of environmental education. Also how different ecological consciousness in the different age groups. Therefore allocated different levels of groups: from12 to14, from15 to17, to45 years and over 45 years. The specific objectives: • To make inquiries via pre-prepared questionnaires in the group of different ages in four municipality of region (Mtskheta, Dusheti, Kazbegi, Tianeti). • To detect of the regions geographical location’s positive and negative sides. • To estimate by the population environment and the living world. • To determine the level of population’s awareness on the base of the results. • To determine of attitude of population to questionnaire. The study was pland and implemented to taken into account on the methodological base and its new direction – Management Of The Landscape. Ultimately, after survey the people in the regions we have developed and analyzed the information. On the basis of the dates set up the charts and tables and with these analysis identified problematic issues and their solutions in the region.
