Hydroecological problems of Sioni reservoir

Ecological system is built up by ecological factors, determinded connection and the interaction of the organisms and their results. One of the most notable and at the same time having special importance of the ecological system is having peculiarity of changing in advantageous conditions, one of the ecological factor’s interaction can be changed by another factors influence, without changing existing ecological system. Preservation of the ecological balance and struggle against the pollution of the environment will allow the humans of the planet to live in the advantageous conditions for them. From the basic components of the environment the most widespread matter is the water. The firs inhabitants considered the water, with the air, the fire and the land one of the most basic elements of the nature. It still hasn’t lost its unique properties, it still is one of the most important condition for life, at the same time it is the cheapest and powerful lever for getting energy. In my graduation’s work there is discussion about Sioni’s reservior’s hydrological regime, the quality of the forming of the water as the determining factors and hydro_ecological problems. Also ongoing eutrophication processes in reservior.
